What is coaching?

Coaching is a partnership where the coach through questioning and an action-oriented process helps you understand and develop both your strengths and fill identified gaps, find solutions to your challenges while empowering you to grow and succeed through deeper insights, self-awareness, and skills enhancement. 


Amplify Coaching Programs

Our Leadership Coaching and Performance Coaching programs provide individually tailored coaching working towards your goals. 

  • Leadership Coaching primarily aims to nurture effective leadership qualities and enhance performance as a leader. This coaching is aimed at those currently in a leadership role.
  • Performance Coaching is designed to enhance job performance and achieve specific performance-related objectives. It concentrates on improving job-specific skills and competencies essential for success in a particular role.


Key Components of Our Coaching Programs

  • Goal Achievement: Our coaching programs, whether focused on leadership or performance, revolve around assisting individuals in setting and attaining specific goals. These goals can span leadership development, job performance enhancement, career progression, or personal growth.
  • Feedback and Assessment: Our coaches provide valuable feedback and assessments in both leadership and performance coaching. In leadership coaching, this may involve evaluating leadership skills, communication styles, and interpersonal dynamics. In performance coaching, we assess job performance, pinpoint strengths and weaknesses, and establish targets for performance improvement.
  • Skill Enhancement: In leadership coaching, our primary objective is to cultivate essential leadership skill sets, including, strategic thinking, decision-making, team building and emotional intelligence. In performance coaching, we focus on enhancing job-related skills and competencies that are critical for success in specific roles.
  • Self-awareness: Both types of coaching frequently involve guiding individuals toward greater self-awareness. This heightened self-awareness can lead to a deeper understanding of one's strengths and weaknesses, serving as a compass for personal and professional development.
  • Accountability: Our coaches play a pivotal role in helping clients stay on track with their goals and action plans. We provide unwavering support and encouragement, ensuring that clients make steady progress toward their desired outcomes.


Inclusions and Process


Amplify coaching packages consist of:

  1. Access to coaching platform/app* (premium package only)
  2. Access to 'Preparing for Coaching Success' short online course (premium package only)
  3. Discovery questionnaire
  4. 30-minute kick-off discussion
  5. Online strengths evaluation
  6. 6 x 60-minute coaching sessions (premium package includes 8 x 60-minute sessions)
  7. 30-minute wrap-up discussion


*Premium package coaching engagements are managed through a dedicated coaching platform and app, which supports videoconferencing, communicating, document sharing, recording and tracking of actions and goals and chat functionality. Standard package coaching engagements are managed through email and Zoom with access to coaching tool templates.


The discovery questionnaire prompts the client to reflect on the purpose of coaching and their needs.


During the kick-off discussion, we'll work together to define the overarching goals of the program. In each subsequent session, you'll have the opportunity to set specific objectives for that session, revisit previous assignments, recap progress and accomplishments, and agree new assignments. 


Coaching sessions typically occur every two weeks, allowing you ample time to put your goals into action and complete assignments before our next meeting. Staying on track with the agreed schedule is vital to keep your momentum going and maximise the benefits of coaching.


In addition to scheduled coaching sessions, we encourage active engagement in achieving your agreed-upon goals and assignments between sessions. Amplify coaches are available for ad-hoc support, usually accessible via email or chat* for any brief questions or concerns.

My coaching style is highly future-focused, recognising a desired future state and helping you construct a pathway to get there.  We'll work together to develop solutions to issues and problems to help you take concrete steps towards your desired outcomes.   

I understand the interconnected nature of personal and professional life, and will strive to help you strike a harmonious balance, ensuring success in both spheres.
